Kilimanjaro Climbing Machame Route (Whiskey Route):

The Machame Route is a popular choice known for its stunning scenery and varied landscapes, including lush rainforests and alpine deserts.

It’s a bit more challenging than the Marangu Route and takes around 6 to 7 days.

Offers better acclimatization due to the gradual ascent. Summit Success Rate: Approximately 85%

Kilimanjaro Climbing Lemosho Route:

The Lemosho Route considered one of the most scenic and less crowded routes.

It allows for better acclimatization with a longer duration of 7 to 9 days. You’ll experience various ecosystems and incredible views.

Kilimanjaro Climbing Northern Circuit Route:

The Northern Circuit Route is the longest Kilimanjaro route, taking around 8 to 9 days.

It’s a less crowded option, offering excellent acclimatization and the highest success rate.

You’ll circumnavigate the mountain, experiencing diverse landscapes.

Kilimanjaro Climbing Rongai Route:

The Rongai Route approaches Kilimanjaro from the north and is relatively less traveled.

It’s a 6 to 7 days route and offers excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing, including buffalo, elephants, and more.

The Umbwe Route known for its steep and challenging ascent.

shortest route, typically completed in 6 days, and the best suited for experienced climbers looking for a tough climb.

Provides incredible views, but requires a strong level of fitness. Summit Success Rate: Approximately 70%

Kilimanjaro Climbing Shira Plateau Route:

The Shira Plateau Route begins at a high altitude, which can be a challenge for some trekkers.

often combined with the Lemosho Route and takes around 7 to 8 days. Offers great views and the opportunity to explore the Shira Plateau.
